City Place, a 65-acre mixed-use development, will consist of office space, medical office space, retail shopping, restaurants, a 16-screen stadium-seat theater, class-A multifamily living, and class-A self-storage. City Place is located at the NW corner of Interstate 45 and League Line Road in Conroe, Texas. In 1998, D’Agostino Companies acquired the land to develop City Place. Phase I opened June 28, 2005, with the completion of The Grand Theater. Phase II opened August 15, 2009, with the construction and occupancy of a 60,000-square-foot Class A medical office building for regional medical tenant, Sadler Clinic, and now is the home to Houston Methodist. Phase III was completed with the construction and occupancy of a 20,000-square-foot Class A medical office building and emergency room for regional medical tenants, Endeavor Medical Systems and St. Luke’s Medical System. Phase IV consist of a 264-unit multifamily development, which broke ground in February 2019, and was completed in November 2020. Phase V, a 100,000 square foot / 776 unit CubeSmart branded climate controlled self-storage facility, broke ground in November 2021 and opened for leasing on January 15, 2023. Phase VI consists of a 276 unit class-A multifamily development, which broke ground in November 2022, opened for leasing in November 2023, and will be completed in September 2024. The remaining pad sites along .45 and League Line Rd will consist of medical, restaurant, and retail type businesses.
