D'Agostino Companies was formed in 1961 in Baton Rouge, LA as R.J. D'Agostino
Realtor with the slogan, "We sell the earth". 46 years later
this firm is still "selling the earth", and has expanded
its scope to include a broad spectrum of the industry including
land acquisition, design build construction of
commercial projects, commercial/residential development,
consulting, leasing, management and brokerage.

Projects have
included construction of residential homes in a broad price
range, schools, shopping centers, multifamily, office buildings, student housing,
restaurants, and industrial office/warehouses. The main focus has always
been the development of land to meet the needs of growing areas.
Our firm has made efforts to always offer bold new concepts
in the real estate market to meet the demands of the public.
In 1980, our first out of state office
was opened in Atlanta, Georgia focusing mainly on subdivision
development in South Atlanta to meet the needs of growth
in an area of Atlanta with virtually no new developments to offer.
The acquiring of commercial tracts for future development also
became paramount in our goals.
In 2000, D'Agostino Companies moved its company headquarters to Conroe, TX but continued to maintain its office in Baton Rouge until 2003.
The economic climate, influx of people and pro-development attitude
of officials in the Houston metropolitan area and particularly in Montgomery County encouraged this move. The second
generation of our family is now spear heading the firm. Chris and
Bryan D'Agostino hope to continue the focus of the company, but
at the same time expand its activities in order to produce new
and innovative ideas.
Our firm has always felt a tremendous need
to not only be active, but to give back to the community. From
its inception we have made a commitment to be involved in numerous
community organizations for the betterment of others. We also
encourage our employees to do the same, by allowing flexible schedules
to accommodate their commitment to family, church, and community.
For many years we have supported cancer research through our participation at Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center in Baton Rouge, LA and St. Jude Children's Research Center. Currently, D’Agostino Companies is serving on the Board of Texas New Community which is developing a master planned self-sustaining community, New Danville, for high functioning mentally challenged adults. This development is to be located in North Montgomery County near Willis, Texas. Our firm is serving as co chairman for the New Danville House Raffle being held in The Woodlands, Texas with all proceeds benefiting this project. More details about this community may be gained by linking to www.newdanville.org. In addition, D’Agostino Companies is serving on the Conroe Downtown Revitalization Board and was appointed to the City of Conroe Mayor's Development Committee, as well as the City Tree Preservation Committee.
