Our History

Founded in 1961 in Baton Rouge, LA as R.J. D'Agostino Realtor with the slogan, "We sell the earth". Over the years our firm has expanded its scope to include a broad spectrum of the real estate industry including land acquisition, design build construction of commercial projects, commercial/residential development, leasing, and property management.

side_aboutIn 1980, our first out of state office was opened in Atlanta, Georgia focusing mainly on residential subdivision development in South Atlanta to meet the needs of growth in an area of Atlanta with virtually no new developments to offer. The acquiring of commercial tracts for future development also became paramount in our goals.

In 2000, D'Agostino Companies relocated its company headquarters to Houston, TX, but continued to maintain its office in Baton Rouge until 2003. The economic climate, population and job growth, and pro-development attitude of the Counties and Cities in the Houston metropolitan area encouraged this move.

The main focus has always been the development of land to meet the needs of growing areas. However, in recent years D’Agostino Companies has focused primarily on the acquisition, development, and management of Class A Office Properties in high growth markets with population and job growth, high demand, and low supply. Our firm has made efforts to always offer bold new concepts in the real estate market to meet the demands of the public.

In 2016, D'Agostino Companies formed a multifamily division after observing the bottoming of the multifamily cycle in the Houston MSA and the declining national trend away from home ownership to renting. This new division will focus on the development of Class A traditional and active adult multifamily properties.

Our firm has always felt a tremendous need to not only be active, but to give back to the community. From its inception we have made a commitment to be involved in numerous community organizations for the betterment of others. We also encourage our employees to do the same, by allowing flexible schedules to accommodate their commitment to family, church, and community. Below are just some of the charities and organizations that the D’Agostino Companies Team has supported and participated in over the recent years:

"I wanted to say just how much I really appreciate the working relationship we've had. It's all too uncommon in our society to find people that it is easy to do business with. You guys have always said what you mean and done what you said and that has really made working with y'all quite a joy. I wish everyone I dealt with was so honest and organized."
